2026 MBA Chad Flowers Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament
Chad Flowers, City Planner for Marysville, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2019, at the age of 40. He was passionate about his role and was an active member of the MBA. Chad was extremely instrumental in the development of many areas of the city including the city’s comprehensive plan and uptown revitalization. Colleagues said that Chad was very well respected and that they “had never seen anyone accomplish the magnitude of projects, the way Chad was able to accomplish in the short time he was with the City of Marysville.” This scholarship, designed to help a Marysville student move into a career in business, is dedicated to Chad’s memory and his contribution to the growth of business in the City of Marysville.
