DESCRIPTION:Memorial Health\, in collaboration with the Union County Falls Coalition\, is hosting Healthy Seniors Day a free event with interactive activities and educational resources designed specifically for local seniors.\n\nHealthy Seniors Day will take place on Tuesday\, September 23rd\, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at the Memorial Hospital Wellness Center\, located at 500 London Avenue\, Entrance E\, in Marysville.\n\nThe schedule for the morning includes:\n\n10:00 AM   Registration\n\nThe first 20 event attendees will receive a $10 lunch voucher to use at the Memorial Hospital Bistro '52.\n\n10:00 AM to 10:30 AM   Meet with Memorial Experts\n\nInteract with Memorial team members and learn about topics including pelvic floor physical therapy for men and women\, falls prevention\, the benefits of vestibular and vision therapies\, and Inspire sleep therapy. Screenings will include blood pressure checks and balance tests. Attendees can also speak one-on-one with a primary care physician.\n\n10:30 AM to 11:15 AM   Memorial Wellness Class Demonstrations\n\nParticipate in 15-minute class demonstrations for the following classes: Tai Chai\, Moving with Purpose   perfect for those with balance issues or Parkinson's disease\, and Silver Sneakers.\n\n11:15 AM to 11:30 AM   Explore and Tour\n\nVisit event stations\, connect with resources\, and tour the Memorial Hospital Wellness Center.\n\nAs part of the event\, participants will receive a Healthy Seniors Day Passport\, receiving stamps as they complete event activities. Guests that complete three activities will be entered for a chance to win a free massage.\n\nHealthy Seniors Day is a joint collaborative event between Memorial Health\, the Regional Falls Coalition\, and the Union County Health Department.
